His experiences are varied and cover a broad spectrum of mental health services. This includes working with children and adults in a multitude of settings. Some examples are working as a Clinician for the mentally ill population in the Santa Clara County Main Jail and Elmwood facilities, working in the children's shelter, working with severely mentally ill population, working in the Family Court arena, working with teens, and providing therapeutic services to Autistic and developmentally delayed youth.
Specifically, he was instrumental in the development of the Evans Lane Wellness and Recovery out-patient mental health service team, and he was one of the first clinicians to work in the outpatient program there. He has also been a Family Court Mediator intern and he is presently on the SCCPA list of Forensic Providers. Mr. Tansek regularly conducts Family Court related mental health services which include Therapeutic Supervised Visitation, Confidential Mediation, Parent Coaching, Co-parenting counseling, Supervised Therapeutic Visitation, Confidential Mediation, Expert Testimony, and many other services. Additionally, he has experience as a Therapeutic Behavior Specialist working with autistic children, and School Counselor in a middle school setting.
